Artist | Ken Browne

More and more in the recent past I’ve been drawn to studying the story of the land, the natural curvature, the marks of ancient civilization and man made marks of husbandry.

Now I try to sculpt with paint the shapes I see as well as sensing the vibrations of the landscape.

So my work I feel is part of an emotional journey.

I suppose I’ve moved on from my earlier influences which included Turner and Nathaniel Hone as I’m finding my own direction.
